GBoost is a free service run by GZero that enables gamers to quickly close down unwanted processes and services that are running in the background at the simple click of a button. It can be as simple as just pressing the red button or can be customised using a simplified predefined category list of options.

This enables smoother and more responsive gameplay with reduced lag due to not having unnecessary overhead on your CPU and Internet connection whilst playing games.

Once you finish playing the game. Just press restore to get your system background tasks running again. No Reboot required.

Windows was designed to run almost any software conceivable and is a very powerful operating system. When you install a PC game onto your system to play it, your PC's CPU (Central Processing Unit or main brain) has to contend with running your game and it also has the job of running all of the other windows software in the background which can actually hinder gameplay performance.

GBoost temporarily strips down Windows of all the unnecessary background running tasks that are running and lets it focus on just the game to ensure that you get no interruptions or lag as well as decreased FPS lag spikes (where your frame refresh rate drops whilst playing the game).

GBoost is a patent pending system that connects your PC to a server in the cloud that we call iStein. This server knows all the processes and services that can be running on a PC by collecting them up from our users. Our Pro Technician gamers then decide which of these are necessary when playing games and which ones are not. Some of them are put into categories, such as Music, so that you can choose if you want your iTunes running whilst gaming or not.

“This program is ace, i play on a 32" HD enabled usually have some really bad lag while playing crysis this has solved my problem and even raised my optimal settings to higher quality. i couldnt play with motion blur previously but gboost also corrected that.. i will give more feedback when ive tried out more games : ) but just crysis performance has shocked me .... REALLY WELL DONE GREAT PROGRAM

Have you ever suffered from choppy graphics (FPS lag) in your games?
